learnt how to make expresso today...tried latte, but they told me to stay away from the coffee machine first..there was a new guy.....and i wondered a lot about him....i wonder if he is a fast or slow learner.....business as per usual.....sometimes, i wonder if people show their true colours if u know them long enough.....i thought some people were badmouthing me....or maybe not....thinking of asking sis to come and work.....most of the staff was quite friendly....and the boss came over to say hi....stopping work before school starts...fellow staff asked me to extend my working hours, or continue when school starts....gonna be busy....after that, i may want to join another restaurant, because, sometimes, i feel undervalued. no name tag...etc. empty promises...and the negativity is coming back again...i mean, hiring staff is one thing, but when it is not busy, i feel that they do not need to have so much manpower....i mean, besides issuing receipts and taking orders, the other staff probably know more than me...though i may have what it takes to stay for as long as i like...but at least, i can safely say that i am proficient at taking orders...unlike at banquets or buffet-style restaurants....really prefer casual dining to fine dining...i cannot stand the intricacies an etiquette when it comes to very high-class restaurants...and often, i don't really know what to do....have to wait for the next payroll....because i missed it by one day....oh well....i hope sis can come and work too.....my english is seriously becoming very ''rusty'', since i don't have to study for GP etc.
